I once saw a search count up to 500+!
Recent one showing up to 375 count.

In my opinion, whatever setting we used, in whatever trophy range, as long as we are able to sustain our gold for base searching and elixir for troops, we are good to go. There are days where luck is not as good as yesterday.

after the maintanence break started to get long searches. Before max 7-80 searches to find a dead base but now almost all searches are above 100 sometimes 200+. Give it time to get back to normal. eg 5-6 days

Yes, almost half of my raids today are more than 100 searches count.

- 12 Giants, 4 Wallbreakers, 86 Barbs, 86 Archers.
- Gold Available: 49999
- Elixir Available: 99999
- Any TH

At COC update with Bowler, I don't need to limit trophy count.
Actually, previous COC version, it was very difficult to find dead base if trophy level is over 1200.
But now, it is OK. I can find dead base easily.
I am using only Barbarian and Archer. Because they are they cheapest. And well enough to attack dead base.
My setting is as follow.
Barbarian : 110
Archer : 130
Gold available : 100,000
Elixir available : 100,000
Dark Elixir available : 0
No limit TH level
Find only dead bases
Wave deployment speed : 8
Troop deployment speed : 7
No deploy King, Queen and Clan Castle
Split attach into : 3 wave
Deploy near red line <<< Most important thing to be like human action
Deploy near collectors <<< Most important thing to be like human action
attack all side
Trophy level from 5000 ~ 5000 (No limit)
