Is 3 breaks at least in 24 hours fine or not?  Blush Blush

I suggest you take atleast 6hours break while your sleeping.

I'm using one break (1 hour) to three hours farming - thinking that this will not 'trip' the personal timer set up in CoC.  So far, so good.  During the scheduled break(s), I rarely get raided, but when CF resumes, my personal timer is reset to 4 hours, and I continue farming until my next scheduled break, and repeat through the day/night.

There are many options. The most important thing is to set breaks that will look real for example 1 break of 6-8 hours and another 2-3 breaks of an hour each.
