My two cents...

1 - Download the recommended MEmu 2.9.6. here
    and install it. don't run it.

2 - Download the additional Android 4.4 OVA file here

3 - Save it at your MEMU path. For example, mine is C:\Program Files\Microvirt\MEmu

4 - Kill your MEmuConsole in Windows Task Manager

5 - Run Multi-MEmu

5 - Delete the existing memu version from multi-memu window

6 - Click Create button and select Android 4.4 Wait to finish.

7 - Rename the new created version 4.4 to Memu (it can be optional)

8 - Enjoy

Note:
You can use the 5.3.2 version too. Both are working pretty well for me


it got stuck in a black screen after i did this method.

the black screen is because you are not running on android 4.4
Uninstall memu and try again

No need to uninstall MEmu and try again. Delete the instance with Multi-memu and then create a new one.

Another thing to note: Although OP lists two number 5's, it is imperative that the second number 5 be done. Otherwise you might run into issues. 

That also looks suspiciously like my directions...
