As I've stated prior, and probably a common sentiment, is I have no problem donating or making sure the CF team gets something for their time, but the $120 price tag per base is quiet high when compared to other bots or mods out there for COC or other games. I understand the need/want to make money, but from what I have heard those other bots don't do well at the higher price points, and slowly stop updating or fixing issues because there is not enough paying clients to keep it going. For something like this, and many other apps, you need to do it for the love and realize you won't strike it rich, especially if you are over charging your customers.
Have I and many others saved $120 worth of our time using this app? Yes, of course! But I also save a lot of time using different iPhone apps, and they cost about $4.99. My only concern would be how can CF guarantee I will never be banned using this bot? If I pay that $120 and I'm banned next week, now what? Is that on me or on CF with their promise of "anti-ban" technology?
Personally, and of course I don't know the in's and out's of CF, I would look at a lower price points to gain more clients and look at increasing the price with success. At this point there is so much competition for COC bots that if someone looked they would find most offer similar features for about the same money. This is the time to separate yourself from the rest of those other bots. I bet you make a lot more money charging $20/year per key, than you would charging $120/lifetime, as more people are willing to part with a $20 no questions asked. I understand you have some special human algorithm, but the average person is only going to see price and features.
As someone in business (MBA) I would much rather write a program and have 300 people enjoy it at $20, than 50 person at $120 and this is just a greater chance of word of mouth if you have a good product, and the chance to really stick it to the competition. This would be different for a physical product but as the cost to develop are the same if 1 or 2,000 people are using it, it makes very little difference.
CF has a great product and team! One I have and will recommend, however I would rather buy $100 worth of gems and go back to playing the game I did before than pay that much for a bot that can claim anti-ban technology, but can't guarantee it. If the free one ever disappeared, which it will once you see the results at $120/key, I will just have to hit 'next' myself I guess or hope RC17 continues to work with any new COC updates.
I hope you guys all the best and hope that it all works out with the Pro and Free versions!
