I am vastly relieved and delighted to be able to report that MEmu Version: 2.8.6 is "playing nicely" with CF 1.8.13.
Thank you for urging me to try MEmu again. As you could probably tell, I was not eager to go there, based on my experience last June (2016). But it was worthwhile. MEmu, or CF, or both, have changed for the better since I made that experiment. Thanks!
